There were emotional scenes in Redeemer Boys' School this week as the new Basketball Strip was unveiled. Mr N.McArdle revealed to everyone that the design chosen was that of Matthew Hutchinson, one of our 6th class leavers. Mrs Hart and Ms Bolger's stepfather, Michael Martin, sadly died last year and a generous donation was subsequently made by their mother to the school to fund this kit in its entirety! We are truly blessed that the boys will now compete wearing this strip emblazoned with the powerful message of "Anything is possible in this lifetime, never give up", a direct quote from Michael himself. Mrs Hart and Ms Bolger's mother will visit the school next week to see the boys off as they travel to Gaelscoil Dhún Dealgan to play a match and officially launch the new strip!
