As part of the Ireland 2016 Centenary Programme, we held a Flag-Raising ceremony on Tuesday 15th March. The original proclamation was read and the school's own 'Proclamation for a New Generation' was unveiled, this shared the school's hopes and dreams for our country. The boys sang, danced and entertained us with the help of past pupil Eoghan Murphy. We were led by piper, Amanda Mackin, from the Resource Centre to the school where two members of the Irish Army raised our national flag. Thank you to all involved, it truly was a memorable occasion for the school and the wider community.
