Walk for Water
22nd Mar 2024
As part of our efforts to achieve the green flag under the theme of water, our Green-Schools committee organised a Walk for Water challenge for our 5th and 6th class pupils. The challenge involved our senior boys walking just under 6 kilometers while taking turns to carry 6 litres of water. The purpose of our walk was to raise awareness of water scarcity around the world. We also wanted to show solidarity with the many children in other countries who have to walk on average 6 kilometers a day to access water due to drought or poor infrastructure within their countries. Well done to everyone who took part!
